Hey peeps, tonight we hike. As a reminder, keep hydrated. Make sure you bring plenty of water and snacks. As usual, hiking shoes and a flashlight are an absolute must. I also recommend gloves, as they’ll come in handy when climbing and holding various things on the trails. We’ll be doing an intermediate and an advanced group again. If you can make it, awesome; it’s always a great time an workout!  We’ll see y’all out there at the usual meet up, Griffith Park Merry Go Round Lot Three.  We meet up at 6:30 pm and start hiking at 7 pm. Tonight’s theme is CicLAvia.  So wear your favorite CicLAvia Shirt.  Michael will have a few shirts he’s selling for only $3. If you’re not wearing a CicLAvia Shirt wear ORANGE. . Got about 1.5 hours to our Fantasy Football Draft.  With that in mind, I’m thinking about starting my own.  If you’re interested, hit me up.  I’m thinking we would draft on Sunday 8/24 or 8/31.  The NFL season starts on September 4th.  I’m thinking like a small fee league, $20.

Great to be back after a 2 week hiatus.  Once we got to the backside of Griffith, I asked my intermediate peeps if they were up for Killer Hill 2.  Well, they took the challenge and they were awesome!  We went a little different route last night and didn’t meet up with the advanced group at Mt. Hollywood like usual.  We ended up coming back down the steps by Bee Rock, and by the old zoo.  Thanks to Ray Madrigal, Angelo Panetta and Carlos Berruz for assisting.   Great job to my Intermediate Crew for hanging in there and getting it done.  All in all with some of the late comers, we had 35 for the intermediate group and 24 on the advanced.  Thanks to Valerie Monique Romero for stepping up and leading the advanced group with Phillip PhatCat Pollerana aka “Twice P” and Maria Delgadillo.  I heard you guys had a great hike as well up Spider Hill. Late training session.  Elbow is about 80% now, so I was able to lift more.  I’m still limited with pulling movements, so I adjusted by keeping the reps high. My knee is still an issue, so kept the running pace at 5.1 mph max.
